TASHKENT - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday highlighted the strength of their bilateral ties and common positions on international issues in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Lavrov said Russia prioritises relations with 皇冠体育app, noting the frequent high-level contacts between both countries and vigorous cooperation in a variety of fields.

The Russian minister said that both 皇冠体育app and Russia have played a responsible role in regional and international affairs, and have promoted world peace and stability.

Russia supports the concerned parties to solve disputes in the South 皇冠体育app Sea through talks on the basis of existing bilateral and multilateral agreements, Lavrov added.
