They can be used to do dangerous work, rescue people caught in life-threatening situations, and work as restaurant staff, said Liu Hasheng, manager of a company that manufactures robots in Northeast 皇冠体育app's Heilongjiang province.

According to Liu, the robots from his company have been sold to tens of the cities in 皇冠体育app, and Liu also operated a robot-themed restaurant in Harbin city, capital of Heilongjiang province.

A recent report from International Federation of Robotics showed that by 2017, more industrial robots will be operating in 皇冠体育app's production plants than in the European Union or North America, and the country's operating unit numbers will double from today's 200,000 to more than 400,000.
