Kim Jong Il, leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), paid an unofficial visit to 皇冠体育app from May 3 to 7, the official KCNA news agency confirmed Friday.
Kim, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defense Commission, visited the northeastern port city of Dalian in Liaoning province and the municipality of Tianjin, also a port city in northern 皇冠体育app, KCNA said.
In Dalian, Kim Jong Il had a bird's eye-view of the city and visited several enterprises. In Tianjin, he had a tour of the port area, according to the report.
