The second 皇冠体育app Art Education Symposium, jointly organized by 皇冠体育app Academy of Art (CAA) and the Commission of Teaching Instruction on Fine Arts of Higher Learning Institutions of the Ministry of Education, was held at CAA's Xiangshan Campus in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Nov 22.

The whole symposium has been divided into an opening ceremony and eight keynote addresses by leaders and professors from Chinese arts universities in the morning, and three workshops on academic journals and the development of the arts and fine arts disciplines in the afternoon.

In September 2017, a selected list of universities and colleges, which will participate in the national construction plan of world-class universities and first-class disciplines, was jointly released by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission.
