Sandra Bullock bullies 鈥楾wilight鈥� at box office

Sure, 鈥淭he Twilight Saga: New Moon鈥� topped the box office and made another $42.5 million this weekend, but the real winner, in my opinion, is Sandra Bullock.
Her movie, 鈥淭he Blind Side,鈥� was No. 2 and came in just behind 鈥淣ew Moon鈥� with $40.1 million. More importantly, 鈥淭he Blind Side鈥� did that while playing in nearly 1,000 fewer theaters than the vampire romance.
If it鈥檚 not too early, then I nominate Bullock for female box-office superhero of 2009. She hadn鈥檛 hit the big screen since 2007, and between 鈥淭he Proposal,鈥� 鈥淎ll About Steve鈥� and 鈥淭he Blind Side鈥� (which has only been out two weeks), she鈥檚 made more than $300 million at the box office.
